Day 10 – Chenny Tour Exhibition

Good evening ❤

Another night spend in a 24/7 coffee shop in Sinchon with Ally and I could really get used to that!

Today, I woke up early and headed over to Hyehwa for the Chenny Tour exhibition

since my friend asked if I could help out and I surely enjoyed lending them a hand.

Many people don’t know how much work these birthday events are, how much energy and time they swallow

and yet everyone was smiling and fooling around with each other despite the language barrier.

Without further ado let me guide you through this beautiful exhibition.

Allow me to be your special guide on this tour!

(sneaky Chennie Duck)

First stop at the merchandise stand, look at the adorable eco bag and beautiful Polaroids!

I obviously got some for myself as well 😉

The exhibition room itself is quite huge and spacious, we even rearranged

the lights for better lightening!

Now to some of my favorite pictures, which I took my sweet time to admire.

From baby Jongdae to…

…to our charming poodle prince!

Look at this gorgeous man!

(that was such a good day!)

Our little visitors in Doll form!

Luckily Monica stopped by and we fetched lunched and coffee together!

Our lunch was so delicious – god have mercy!

Thanks again for coming up all the way to Seoul to see me my dear ❤

(and also climbed a freaking mountain in heels – which I shall blog about tomorrow :’D)

For today I will leave it at that and probably head back to Hongdae soon,

I hope you enjoyed my little tour!

Much love and see you tomorrow =3

Day 7&8 – Yo! Check 1, 2, 3, Soy Benny~

Good morning~

Will I ever get more than 5hours sleep while I’m here? Probably not.

Sleep is for the weak :’D

I spend the last two days in Itaewon watching the Musical “In The Heights” and it was

so so good! But let me start from the beginning.

The cute dongsaeng and I went to Holly’s Coffee in Hongdae on Monday morning and

the view from the balcony was amazing!

I love Hongdae’s street art!

Look at the beautiful view and the weather was perfect to sit outside!

We then headed to Itaewon as you can see and met up with some friends of mine, all of us were

early so we decided to visit EdenXNuna’s Birthday exhibition for Jongdae since it was pretty close

to the musical venue.

/whale noises

Look at all these gorgeous pictures – they will be sold to some lucky buyers at the end

of the exhibition.

I’m so glad we had the time to stop by!

Then it was time to head back to the venue because all of us had an event planned to

carry out so we rushed back and passed Exo’s manager BUT like no one besides me seemed to notice??

I was going crazy by myself because he is my favorite one with the cute ears. I’m weird.

On the first day I was lucky to see Jongdae perform with Bukyong from up close in row 10 ❤

Beautiful people…I loved the whole cast.

On the second day I was able to see Luna perform with Jongdae and their voices

work even better together then JongdaeXBukyong – I was so in awe!

Benny also met Chennie Duck :’D

I could go into detail about the musica again but I already did a full report on another sns account so

I will keep it short and say that it was worth all the struggle of getting the tickets.

I haven’t seen Jongdae this happy in a while and his voice was so strong and beautiful – I will

always remember this.

Thank you to everyone who came to our event (cxchenbao) – we really appreciated it!

After the first show my kind eonnie treated all of us to Bingsu at Sulbing where

we also exchanged presents and it felt like Christmas all over again!

My Japanese friend had an extra Chennie Duck and gave it to me ;___; Thanks Mezu ❤

And look at the person who said she wouldn’t buy any merchandise. Right.

My japanese friends and I also managed to visit Cafe Chen on the second day 🙂

Their drinks are really nice – the cafe latte filled me with lot’s of strength for the second Musical Day! :’D

I can’t get over how cute this is!!!! Myeontokki!

Lastly, I ran into the bday ad from China Chen Union on my way home.

The last two days have been very memorable and precious to me.

I will miss my salsa dancing Benny ❤

Day 6 – Kamong, Coex and Kindly Suho Screening

I’m laughing at myself because I claimed to be doing mostly EXO unrelated

stuff which turned out to be total bullshit because the Korean fans just offer so many

events for the boys and especially Jongdae right now that I just cant resist.

So after seeing Grace off today, I grabbed my suitcase and headed over to Hongdae to my new hostel.

It’s funny how we ran into the Chen Bus, which we’d been searching for just by chance in front of a coffee shop close to our hostel :’D

Cutest little bus!

After grabbing some food/drinks with the dongsaeng, it was already time to head over to Gangnam

where I would meet up with my Eonnie for lunch, Kamong, Coex and the kindly Suho screening event which we

received tickets for by a friend.

The mandu and spicy rice cakes were so good but unfortunately we couldn’t finish all of it…

We arrived at Kamong and ordered our drinks, mint chocolate Kamongchino and were mesmerized by all

these cute EXO dolls around us!!

Eonnie got me so much presents, it felt like Christmas in September :’DD

I never bought “Die Jungs” so it made me so happy to receive the M version and

look at all these cute little stickers /swoons

Then we moved on to COEX which is only about 3 – 4 stops away from Kamong by train (Samsung Station) and

the store is really something else – it feels like one is standing in the hall of fame the moment

you enter the first floor.

(I was totally NOT tempted to buy a Jongdae pillow because I’m an responsible young adult /coughs)

Look at all that merchandise that no one really needs but wants nonetheless.

Totebagsssss but none really caught my eye…

/heavy breathing

I know a handful of people who wouldn’t mind wiggling their way in between these pillows.

Best Halloween Costume Award goes to?

We entered the cafe afterwards and lord the amount of EXO dolls there were no joke – even more

than at Kamong.

Too pretty to be eaten.

I have to admit that I find these cookies really cute and adorable but I bet they don’t really

taste good.

Pretty bottles but I got the newest one – might go back to buy the Love Me Right one on

Friday =)

Don’t blame me I was always a sucker for purikura inspired photography and eonnie showed it to me!

Next stop was the screening event of kindly Suho and let me tell you she is the sweetest

person alive just like her bias – she gave us 2 tickets in the front row and Myeonie fancams were

super precious and I could probably fill pages over the screening event only but it’s 1am and I have a

musical to attend tomorrow so allow me to keep it short.

Handsome leader nim ❤

Front Row Seat, thank you Kindly Suho&Cithun

Look at the cute myeonie doll we received for free, we also got a poster, balloon, photo-cards and

tokki myeon plasters.

The atmosphere inside the venue was amazing, we laughed a lot together especially about Junmyeon wildly dancing to

machine and being a total dork behind the scene. One time Sehun blocked the view and everyone went “Sehunna~

Sehunna~ SEHUNNA!!” it was hilarious! One time only Jongin’s lower body showed during the Call Me Baby fancam and

the whole hall went silent for a second before we all giggled like the dirty, little perfects that

we all are. The ending was emotional, filled with words of gratitude, love and trust.

It was a great experience!

I even received this pillow in the end and took a picture with the bday ad because there is no difference at all!

It’s 1 am now and I’m hosting my own event for In The Height’s tomorrow as well as helping

out China Chen Union – so I better call it a night now.

Good night lovelies ❤

Day 5: The Vocalist Cafe Chen Beni Report

Another long day – but a happy one!

I woke up around eight thirty this morning so I got enough sleep to prepare for the day.

After hopping under the shower and throwing some make up onto my face, I headed

out to meet up for coffee with my baby dongsaeng Ally at drop top. She treated me to an Iced Americano ;__;

She also brought me my In The Height’s Ticket & Minseok’s Photobook.

20150912_101655Gorgeous sight.

Then we headed out to Kondae to The Vocalist’s Cafe Cheni Beni Event!

But before that we spotted Kimoppa’s and Chensday’s birthday ad at the station and

recharged our batteries with an delicious lunch set.

(it was hard to not press myself up against that ad and rub myself against it)

Seafood galore~~~

And off to the Cafe we went, which was like in fricking Nevada – the walk was the best exercise ever today :’D

Who am I kidding I’ve been walking around since 9 am and now it’s midnight. (sobs)

We arrived at the Cafe ten minutes before it would open and some people were already

standing in line in front of the entrance door. Everyone, especially the Vocalist were really sweet

and polite (besides one Korean highschooler who made fun of me /imitated me), passing out free

cards while we were waiting.

When it opened we were overwhelmed with just how much care and thoughtfulness the cafe

had been decorated, now let me give you a little tour.

yea we were greeted by that right at the entrance – go figure our reactions.

Look at the pictures ;___; and god I love the one with the feathers he looks like a real angel!

I’m so in love with this picture

So manly! /swoons

All her pictures that she displayed were gorgeous!

Look at this baby /cackles

You had the choice between a set (2 macarons, beni coaster, coffee/hot chocolate), they also offered

the Crescendo Photobook from last year and a photo card set for reasonable prices.

The varieties of EXO dolls we saw today were no joke!

This cracked me up!

My macarons ❤ (Strawberry/Lemon/Chocolate)

I was able to give the Vocalist my present and she remembered me from Twitter (le cries)

She was really sweet and funny!

I got an iced chocolate /noms

The photocard set is so pretty and look at the cute coaster! *___*

The girl next to us was from Taiwan and she got the Chennie Latte /grins

Selca Check

I also bought a lot of cheap clothes today and walked along the

stream at night – so I’m close to pass out right now.

I met a really sweet Korean Jongdae stan today and all in all I can say that korean

Jongdae stans are for one hilarious and secondly very, very sweet/generous!

I hope you enjoyed my little report.

Alina over and out /dives under sheets

Day 3 – Dongdaemun aka meeting the squad

I’m relying on TwoSome’s WiFi right now even though I claimed to

not visit any chain coffee shops this time – well.

Today was a crazy ride since we met up with my friend Carla and had lunch together in

Sinchon & I spontaneously decided to cut my hair. (The hairdresser eonnies were so sweet and funny!!)

Chinese food for the win – JAJAMYEON MY LOVE (and savior)

Cafe Smith will not see me again, the Yujacha was delicious but 6.500W for tall size…

‘Cause it’s Korea and I must look cute aka I got annoyed by my hair and trimmed it.

(it has a faint purple touch in the sunlight <3)

We headed to Dongdaemun afterwards for the glowing roses but since it was still light outside

when we arrived, we strolled around and eventually stumbled over our special friends /coughs

I love how they all stand in a straight line ready for us to press up against the glass case – wait what?

I wanted to take that figurine home with me – it’s super adorable.

(I need to grow up – snorts yea right.)

Seokkie – because the pink hair shall always be remembered and dearly missed. Cotton Candy Ice Cream Fairy.

Had to support my ladies as well since I dig their whole album and been looping it since it

was released. Huff&Puff /jams

(I got Seulgi for my photo-card YAAAS)

When it got dark we stopped at the glowing rose garden and the sight was breath taking!

Grace, the twins and I then decided to rest for a while at a 24/7 Holly’s in Dongdaemun and

talked about basically EVERYTHING. By the way Korean guys seem to favor extremely tight

pants and well, what can I say I have seen a couple of fairly nice apple butts so far /wipes drool

(I also did more shopping at the LINE Store – because they sold character T-shirts for 10 000 Won ONLY)

And lastly, can you see the faint purple in my hair?

Alright, it’s almost midnight and I’m meeting up with my baby Ally and Naz eonnie tomorrow

so better head back to the hostel soon. (sleep is for the weak tho – at least in Seoul)

See you tomorrow ❤

Seoul Diaries: Myeongdong – Bye money!

Good evening!

This blog will be written in english only since I yet have to study kanji, do the laundry etc.

Lame excuses – I know, just deal with it :’D

So, I don’t think I’ll be able to sum up every thing that happened in Myeongdong since we

spent A LOT of time there.

(blame it on Nature Republic, the damn SM Pop Up Store, CD Stores, Cheap Clothes, Forever 21 and AWESOME food)

Ask my friend, we left most of our money in Myeongdong with no regret.

Anyways time for some pictures.

Credit for this picture goes to Mr. Carl W on flickr.

My camera ran out of battery and I missed to take a picture of this spot…

You run into so many japanese people there I almost felt at home :’D

If you thought Japanese were using every chance to make their Idols promote shit – you ain’t seen nothing yet.

South Korea is taking the top spot for Idol Promotions…we didn’t even walk a meter without seeing famous/pretty faces!

Not going to lie – I was pondering on stealing that standy from the first day until the last…

Alina’s favorite store. So basically if anyone wants a facial mask – just hit me up – I have like an annual supply of sheet masks.

Pink stores shall not be trusted.

Oh don’t be surprised about the lack of people around by the way.

Our first visit to Myeongdong was around 8am since we were awfully jet lagged and got up around 4am.

Lunch break, Naengmyoen aka cold noodles.

My dear friend…was challenging fate by ordering the SPICY ONES.

Now, ladies and gentleman, we shall never do that in Korea.

You won’t feel any pain while you eat but as soon as you stop you can kiss any sensation in your tongue tonight.

We were crying while eating – the restaurant owner was probably having a blast.

I love how everything is so colorful in asia!

Snail Cream? I yet have to figure out what kind of product our dear Changmin is promoting here…

Selfie and promoting ‘Homestead Coffee’ probably our favorite coffee shop chain in Korea!

The mint chocolate mocha was a piece of heaven.

Back outside we fought hard to not stop and buy something at every food stand we passed by.

My friend is addicted to korean character socks. It never fails to amuse me how we stopped

at every sock stand while she peeked around for EXO ones. I love you Tami.

A ‘quick’ stop at the CD store to pick up our favorite artists’ albums – they are so cheap over here.

A full length album costs you about 10 – 15 bucks?

What I didn’t know was that you always receive a huge poster for every album you buy.

It was so much fun to get those home in one piece.

A beautiful view but unless you have a weakness for classical music don’t go to this coffee shop!

Dinner time before we headed back to our hostel!

It wasn’t our last time in Myeongdong rather the beginning! :’D

If you are interested I shall share some final pictures of our shopping hunt during the last week.

I might add another story of Myeongdong to this post later on but for now I got to go.

Seoul Diaries: Gangnam Hallyu Festival 2013

Our wake up call was at six am this morning. We quickly showered and jumped into the first train we were able to catch.

We reached Coex Mall in Gangnam around 8am and followed some fellow fans to the open venue behind the mall. We were met with at least 400 fans who had already started queueing since last night. Crazy bitches aish! ;P

So when we reached the end of the line we were shocked by the devotion/craziness of korean fans.

Still, we bought some coffee and food before making ourselves ‘comfortable’ on the stony asphalt. Didn’t do my butt any good to be honest.

The first five hours were spent by chatting, eating and cursing those damn saesang fans. One highlight was definitely that someone ordered pizza hut delivery so an Ahjussi on a motorbike was going through the different lines, asking who the fuck had ordered the damn pizza, another one was the overflowing convenience store!

Oh we also saw some fans running around with Infinite member face masks on (Woohyun, Sunggyu, Hoya and Dongwoo, if I recall it correctly). That was…random?

Anyways we finally started moving. Slowly, but everything was very well-organized and everyone stayed in line.

Around 2:30 we were moved again and the groups started rehearsing! Shinee was first and even though we couldn’t see them because we were freaking cockblocked by a damn tent, Jonghyun’s amazing voice reached us. (Dream girl, Sherlock, Tears)

Next to rehearse was EXO and the crowd went crazy, noise wise though Tami and I were flustered by Baekhyun’s porno voice as well. In live.

They rehearsed: Growl, 365 and Mama.

Next one was our dear Infinite! And Woohyun immediately spread his greasiness everywhere. They sang dorawa which was very unexpected, destiny, request and also unexpected , in the summer. They were already full of energy while waving and bouncing over the stage – well as much as I was able to see.

Bouncing dots, one with a perm – probably Sungyeol.

Now, while I am writing this we are still waiting for girl’s day to freaking rehearse so we can take our final positions!!!’ But there seems to be a delay. Oh joy. The fans behind us are freaks. The ones in front of us rather cute! However, our backs&legs are killing us and my bladder would like to meet a restroom soon!

And the security guys are back to sort us back into teams of two and rows.
Time Jump!
So after what felt like eternity we were finally moving again. In rows of two Tami and I clang onto each other while we walked through the security lines – stumbled and I almost broke my neck in the progress. Why do the security guards have to be so handsome?! Such a distraction ?!

To our surprise we ended up in section B almost right in front of the stage! Yay for no tent!

Next to us were some Japanese ladies who were only visiting Korea for the festival. Ok.
Since a lot of Asian girls are pretty short and the majority were high schoolers anyways – we had the perfect view on to the stage!

The last hour was dragging out like hell before some new comers warmed up the crowd! MIB was also there to perform! Lucky us!

Next was another commercial break and the crowd grew impatient for the first artist!

Lights out, EXO ON!

We did not expect Exo to be the first artist and the people behind us went crazy!

Well, the ones in the front as well but I could only feel the elbows and knees from the people behind me :’D

Hello Jongdae, feline as always.
They performed Wolf, Growl, Mama and 365 and it was worth every second of it! It felt so surreal to see them live right in front of us. So much perfection, is that even possible?

Unfortunately the performance and ment part ended too quickly…and they all hopped off stage again. Crazy beagle line didn’t stop moving/wiggling for a mere second!

Next on was Girls Day and lord they are sooo pretty! I need to download all of their songs they got out so far asap!

The fanboys were pushing and squishing us a lot during their performance. Alright guys.

Next to perform were Infinite who surprised us with SIX songs!!!

Destiny, Come back again, In the summer and Request, The Chaser and Man in Love!

I lost it when they sang ‘In the summer’ which is one of my favorite Infinite songs EVER!

Hoya was smiling and laughing the whole time and they really spread joy with the way they performed.
Even though Infinite is busy with their world tour at the moment, I’m happy that we got to see them!

Best timed shot ever, props to myself.

Next stage belonged to the MCs of the night: Suho, Baekhyun and Mr. Whose name I forgot.
Lord have mercy those two have such great humor and they are so handsome…!!!
They were announcing Shinee’s Comeback stage and we were swept of our feet by the shouts and screams of the Shawols surrounding us.

Shinee…especially Jonghyun and Taemin were way too sexy for our unprepared little souls! :’D

Taemin found himself some hormones. Lots of it.

I mean tight leather pants? And god have I missed Jonghyun’s&Onew’s mind blowing voices!

They performed a total of five songs: Sherlock, Dream Girl, Symptoms, Selene 6.23 and their new song for the first time ever: Everybody! Best beat and choreography EVER!

Especially Taemin spreading his legs like a willing hoe. Loved it!

They rocked the stage and the highlight came in the end when they invited EXO to join them!

Everyone loves Suho – swear to god. He is sooo tiny though next to Taemin. He should team up with Jonghyun haha!

D.O somehow had one of the white Captain hats Shinee were wearing which got snatched by Luhan though. Sneaky princess Lulu.

The concert ended way too fast but our fangirl hearts were overflowing with various emotions of the night.
I’d like to see more Exo&Shinee interaction in the future, pretty please SM?!
