“I dislike feeling at home when I am abroad.”

….because I’m well aware of the fact that I have to return to Germany in the end come what may.

So, the reason why I haven’t been blogging for three weeks was my trip to the US. It was a crazy rollercoaster ride. New York was AMAZING! Yet overwhelming and crazy to a limit where words can’t describe that wonderful experience.

I ain’t gonna lie after my first cab ride I was crying tears of joy that I made it through alive. Dang, crazy driving over there. What are traffic lights? Totally overrated…!

I guess Forever 21 had to stock up on new clothes after I left. Can’t help it, that store is awesome and we don’t have it over here. Such a pity! That’s me by the way in front of the little lake in Central Park! We survived one of the hottest days in New York since back in the 9os era! Thank you Iced Passion Tea from Starbucks!♡

This beautiful butterfly ring was bought by me in Key West Florida! It just had to be mine – look how well it goes with my new nail polish! It was love at first sight 😉

Besides New York and Florida I FINALLY returned to Oklahoma City where I had been spending my entertaining exchange student life back in 2007 – 2008! The feeling of sitting in one room with all of my best friends is indescribable!

…what? 80% of my friends are Asian, so what? I love them tons! AND they are the reason why I wasn’t stuffing myself with burgers but noodle soup, sushi and tuna salad! :’D However, my special one is sitting right next to me in the picture and even though Mari’s heart is Asian she is American. Such a kind-hearted person – too kindhearted at times! I stayed with her for the five days and we even bought matching key chains like lovers together!

I love those bears! ♡

Mari was also the one introducing me to a little café called ‘All about 茶’ which is run by Koreans. Hands down, I drank the most delicious Iced Matcha Latte there! Wishing that at least Starbucks would have it over here. Time to catch up Germany…

Unfortunately I had to leave Oklahoma sooner or later. Thanks again to everyone who saw me off at the airport at 6 am in the morning! I really love you and if it happens – I’ll party with you in Korea next year!

If I find the time tomorrow I’ll write another fashion blog dedicated to all the outfits I bought at Forever21 and which I’d like to share with you guys. I’d love to hear your opinions on them!

Much love! xoxo
