Yesterday I had my belated birthday party with my favorite girls who are currently living in my hometown. At times I enjoy to have GIRLS ONLY parties because you are free to talk about topics you might not touch on if guys would be around.
I got up at seven AM to prepare the food, table and drinks. That might sound pretty early considering that the party only started at 4pm but trust me – I needed the time! Especially since i don’t like to rush things or to do them last-minute.
Before I forget, this is my new haircut and color. Well, I only shortened the bangs but I’m pretty found of the blue/blackish color! Sorry, about the kind of scary expression on my face Σ(￣□￣lll) The cut turned out slightly different from the one I had planned on doing. (referring to the pictures which I showed you on my previous blog) As you can see it looks more like this:

Moving on, one of my friends already came over around 2pm to help me with the last preparation. She gave me the most adorable necklace EVER!

It fits perfectly to one of my new outfits which I just bought the other day. This girl knows me too well. Can’t wait to wear it at work tomorrow~!
The next two hours went by quickly and my dear guests arrived. They were all dolled up and I regret that I didn’t take pictures of their single outfits. They all looked so pretty!
Unfortunately I forgot to capture all the food I made…we were kind of hungry so we started munching in as soon as everything was brought to the table. Food lovers for the win! ＼（＾∀＾）メ（＾∀＾）ノ
Yuiko made cheese cake for all of us as desert and it was the best one that I ever ate. Not too sugary and with an intense taste of cheese. YUM!
We had the most weirdest yet girlish topics to talk about. I enjoyed every single second of it though. Honestly, after Oklahoma I missed these kinds of ‘gatherings’ or ‘女子会’. Not to mention that it’s such an awesome opportunity to practice my japanese! It’s so interesting to listen to Yuki’s stories about university or her trips. Or how our boyfriends are alike in a few characteristics.
I ADORE the japanese way of wrapping presents!
They stayed until 9 pm but luckily we already scheduled another ‘get together’ next thursday for drinks in the evening which I’m obviously looking forward to!
Changing topics, I bought a new purse last week because it was on sale:
Accessorize: 20 Euro instead of 40 Euro!!!(*´∀｀*)♡ I would have regretted not buying it!
Considered buying this yellow shirt because I’m really found of this kind of yellow lately however it was kind of pricy so I’ll save up and get it next month if it’s still there. Love how it makes your legs look slimmer! (*￣∇￣)ノAHAHA
One more thing before I head to my little ‘home gym’ – does anyone know a good website to purchase korean skin products? I’m searching for some good peelings/ creams that help to reduce impurities and clean out your pores. I’m so envious of my asian friend’s flawless skin!(≧ヘ≦ ) Germany’s bad weather conditions aren’t really helpful when it comes to my sensitive skin…well, I see if I can find a good online store so feel free to throw any recommendation at me!♪
Time for some exercise before I get lazy in front of laptop again.
